Update as of December 2015

A pair of mature Bald Eagles has begun to rebuild their nest just west of the Hickory Creek bridge. This time of year is of critical importance to Bald Eagles as the Eagles prepare to lay their eggs in early January. We respectfully ask that all residents be vigilant in guarding against all human activity - especially snowmobiles and hiking - within a 660 feet circumference of the nest. Please help us to provide a safe and calm area so that we can all enjoy the Eagles for years to come.
